Dr. Joe Forrester was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Niagara University and his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. He completed his residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY, with an emphasis on dental surgery. In 1997, he moved to New Haven to practice dentistry.
Dr. Forrester has devoted his professional career to all aspects of cosmetic dentistry, with an emphasis on beautiful, natural-looking porcelain restorations and dental implants, as well as a unique, whole-patient approach to practicing dentistry. To keep abreast of the latest developments in cosmetic dentistry, he has always exceeded the continuing education requirements of Connecticut. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Forrester’s hobbies include playing golf, baseball, soccer, and skiing, as well as spending time with his wife, Peggy, and his two children. He is an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, the Buffalo Sabres, and the Boston Red Sox.
