Choosing the Right Treatment for You

The three most common types of treatments are:
- Metal braces – Metal brackets are adhered to the teeth and connected with a thin wire which is used to gradually straighten teeth and correct issues with bite. It is a reliable option, most common in children and teens.
- Invisalign® – A series of clear aligners used to guide the teeth into place. It is virtually invisible and best suited for adults, as the removable trays require disciplined use to achieve the most effective results.
- Lingual braces – Braces attached to the inside of your teeth rather than the front. They are a truly invisible option popular with adults but rarely seen in children.
