Yalesville Teeth Whitening

Helping You Get a Whiter, Brighter & More Confident Smile

Forrester Dental can give you the bright, white smile you want with our effective teeth whitening treatments. Teeth whitening is done in a safe fashion, giving your teeth the perfect shade in no time. Forrester Dental can provide an oral exam to see what state your teeth are in and prepare you for whitening treatments. We then professionally apply the whitening solutions to transform your teeth.

We offer both in-office whitening and take-home whitening using high-concentration bleaching gels. If you choose to have whitening treatments done in our Yalesville office, we will ensure your safety by using a protective barrier over your gums and tooth-root surfaces. This way, we can apply the gel without hitting any other parts of your mouth. We give the gel about an hour to take effect.

Our office offers take-home whitening, in which we will make plastic mouth trays for you to wear occasionally on your own. We begin by making a mold of your teeth and crafting the trays from this mold. You can wear the trays on your own for about an hour at a time.

Caring for Your Whitened Smile

Even if you get your teeth whitened, you should still brush and floss your teeth every day. We also recommend stopping in for regular dental cleanings. If you can, try to avoid food or drinks that might stain your teeth. Also, if you smoke, you should consider quitting. Contact our dental office if you have any issues related to your whitened teeth.

Tips for Keeping a White Smile

Here is some useful information for retaining your healthy, bright smile:

  • Avoid beverages that will stain your teeth– Coffee, tea, and red wine will all stain your teeth after prolonged exposure. We recommend either limiting the consumption of these beverages or consider using a straw to prevent the beverage from sitting on your teeth.
  • Keep up with your oral hygiene– This may seem obvious, but brushing your teeth is key to keeping that smile white. Although you may only brush your teeth in the morning and before bed, we recommend brushing your teeth shortly after drinking coffee, tea, or red wine.
  • Scheduling follow-up treatments– Over time, your teeth will begin to lose the whiteness they once had just from everyday factors. Scheduling teeth whitening treatments every so often will keep your smile nice and bright.
